Seinäjoen eläinsuojeluyhdistys Ssesy ry and Ideapark Seinäjoki are joining forces to organise a Match Show on Saturday, 10 October 2026. The event will take place in the car park at the A end of Ideapark Seinäjoki.
The Match Show will have four classes: large puppies (expected adult height at the withers over 40 cm), small puppies (expected adult height at the withers under 40 cm), large adult dogs (height at the withers over 40 cm) and small adult dogs (height at the withers under 40 cm). The puppy classes are intended for dogs under one year of age.
Registration opens on 18 September and closes on 9 October 2026. The number of dogs accepted into each class is limited, so we recommend registering early to secure your place.
The participation fee is €10 and must be paid in advance to Ssesy ry’s bank account or via MobilePay immediately after registration. Payment details will be displayed after you have completed the registration form. Registration is binding.
Registration checks at the event venue will begin at 11:00, with judging in the rings starting at approximately 12:00. Please arrive in good time, as your dog’s vaccination certificate will be checked before participation. You will also receive your dog’s number tag during the check-in.
All dogs are welcome to participate, regardless of breed, mixed-breed background, age or appearance. Participating dogs must have valid vaccinations in accordance with the vaccination regulations of the Finnish Kennel Club. Dogs must not display aggressive behaviour towards other dogs or people.
What is a Match Show?
A Match Show is a fun and informal dog show that welcomes dogs of all breeds, mixed breeds, ages, sizes and appearances. It is a great opportunity to practise being in a dog-show environment and to help your dog become comfortable with being handled by an unfamiliar person. For puppies, a Match Show is also an excellent opportunity to gain positive experiences in a new environment and practise socialising around people and other dogs.
Ssesy support products and raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event. Payment can be made by card, cash or MobilePay. We will also be accepting donations for homeless animals. In addition, an enhanced collection of pet food, litter and other supplies for homeless animals cared for by Ssesy will be organised at the Ideapark Seinäjoki store.
All proceeds from the event will go directly towards Ssesy’s animal welfare work. Bring your dog, enjoy a fun day together and help support animals in need at the same time!
