The event offers plenty to see and do at Ideapark’s Central Arena and outdoors near Entrance B.
Information points will introduce visitors to forest management, timber trade, the recreational and multiple uses of forests, forest nature conservation, hunting and game management. You can also learn about forestry services, development projects and educational opportunities for both young people and adults.
Children and young people can get hands-on experience of forestry professions by trying out a forest machine simulator and a clearing saw simulator. There will also be fun surprises for the youngest members of the family to take home.
Throughout the day, the event stage will feature informative presentations, while troubadour Jukka Järvenpää will provide the musical entertainment.
